About the Grande Cache Memorial Ice Breaker Tournament

The Icebreaker Committee is honoured as community members to bring such a fun filled event to Grande Cache. Our community has proudly supported this event for many years and as a result over $160,000
has gone back into service groups and individuals in need.

We humbly and publicly as an entire community, take time to remember our fellow hockey players with
whom we have shared the ice. Those times will never be forgotten, neither will our friends who this
tournament represents.

Registration Procedures

This year’s tournament has a full slate! We invite you to join us for three days of fantastic hockey!
For those who are interested in participating in the future, we invite you to send in a letter of request
With a deposit cheque, once tournament dates have been confirmed, and you will be entered in the
draw. Deposit cheques for those not selected will be returned after the draw is complete. All application
requests can be sent to the address on ourContact Us page.

Application For Funding Needs

The Icebreaker committee’s mandate is to help those in need.  While they are not able to help all that
apply, a strong effort is made to support as many community members in need as possible. If you would
like to apply for funding, please send a confidential letter to the address on ourContact Us page.
